Cem Kar, the author and director of the documentary film and book “Meçhul Tutsaklar,” gave a conference about the work in the Conference Hall of the Eastern Mediterranean University Library.
In his talk, Kar focused on the meaning of being missing and the fact that little is known about what captives experienced. After the conference, the documentary was screened for students; Kar answered questions after the screening. The EMU Student Council presented Kar with a plaque in recognition of his participation in the conference.
