_As part of a project to develop new technologies, ACM Cyprus, an advertising agency operating in our country, has created a news website called [turkishnewsworld.com](http://turkishnewsworld.com/) where all news stories are written in different languages by artificial intelligence (ChatGPT – OpenAI)._ The Cyprus-based news website, where news about the Turkic world is written by artificial intelligence, features news from Türkiye, Cyprus, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Mongolia, Hungary, Tajikistan, and around the world. The site is being developed day by day, with more languages being added. For now, it is available in Turkish, English, Greek, Russian, and Spanish.
Artificial intelligence also writes an article every day for the Turkish News World news website about the Cyprus issue and elections in Türkiye.
One of the First Projects and a Significant Example of New Media Journalism ACM Cyprus director Cem Kar, who commented on the project, emphasized that the site is still being developed, saying, “We learn new things every day about artificial intelligence, a new technology. We wondered, ‘How can we use this technology in new media journalism?’ After three months of preliminary work and hundreds of trials, we have reached this stage. Therefore, I think we have set a significant example in this field—one of the first projects of its kind—and shown what new media journalism and publishing could look like in the future. Of course, our testing is ongoing and will continue. Artificial intelligence can sometimes make mistakes, which is quite normal for a new technology. For this reason, we provide visitors to the news website with information that the stories were written by artificial intelligence, along with their sources. Work on the site’s infrastructure and technical aspects is ongoing. We welcome suggestions, opinions, and criticism from all our readers and media colleagues to help take this initiative even further,” he said.
Cem Kar also shared that various other languages, including Chinese, German, French, Hebrew, and Hindi, will soon be added to www.turkishnewsworld.com.
