In recent days, everyone has had one question on their mind: “What do leaders talk about in one-on-one meetings?” In response, officials say, “The two leaders meet one-on-one to resolve the issues between them.” After some serious work and research on this subject, I have reached a conclusion. In fact, contrary to what people think and/or what has been announced, the situation is very different… Let me explain…

Inside:

Dimitri: Come on, Mali, what’s with the statements you’ve been making, brother! You don’t want me to call you “comrade.” You’ve hurt me, brother…

Mali: The press is exaggerating, comrade. Forget all that. Did you bring the deck? Dimitri: Of course I did… Look, you cheated last time, too. This time I’m keeping score, so be warned. Mali: Oh, Dimitri, what a sore loser you are… As soon as you lose, you come up with more excuses. You just don’t know how to play this game… Admit it!

Dimitri: We’ll see in a minute who knows how to play and who doesn’t. Ehueheueu… Mali: Come on, enough chatter. Let’s get started. We don’t have much time! We only get a chance to play by using one-on-one meetings as an excuse… Then people start talking.

Dimitri: All right, all right. Cut the deck and let’s start. Mali: Let me tell you before we start: don’t be a sore loser later! The loser will have to come up with an excuse about what we talked about in today’s one-on-one meeting, so keep that in mind. I think you’d better start coming up with an excuse now! Ehuheeu Dimitri: Take your cards and be quiet for a bit… And you’re the one who says I “chirp like a nightingale”… Mali: You just never shut up, son! You’re whining to every journalist you see. If you want to be famous, go audition for Popstar! Hehehe Dimitri: Sure, sure. Look, they call this a pişti, too. Hehehe Mali: You keep distracting me with your chatter while you collect the cards! Don’t think I haven’t noticed. Hand over that lovely ten! Hehehe Dimitri: You noticed, did you… We’ll see at the end of the game. I’m really curious what excuse you’ll come up with this time. Mali: You’re the one who’ll need an excuse, my dear Dimitri. Piştiiiii… Hehehehe Dimitri: Hadn’t all those cards already been played? After keeping score, are you stealing cards now, too? Mali: Come on, come on, learn to count first. Didn’t they teach you to count at school, my dear? Hehehe… Dimitri: They didn’t, bro. We never had a school; we grew up under a bridge. (Like Little Emrah. Hahaha…) Hey, Mali, bring an Emrah movie to our next one-on-one meeting so we can have a laugh.

Mali: All right, all right, I’ll bring one. You don’t know how to play this game, and it’s no fun anymore. We might as well watch a movie. Dimitri: You just can’t resist taking a dig, can you? What a guy… Oh, he’s got another pişti. And that’s the game! Mali: Look, my dear Dimitri, I told you. I said we should play backgammon. I said you didn’t know these card games. But you wouldn’t listen. You insisted: “No, let’s play pişpirik. I won’t play anything else.” Well, there you go: piştii!

Dimitri: Call Yorgo and let him tell you why he won’t play backgammon with you, either. He says you load the dice in that game, too… Mali: You have to load the dice before you roll them, son… Hehehe. You’re all sore losers! Come on, go out there and tell them your life story… Dimitri: All right, all right. Don’t get carried away… Note: The dialogue above is classified information. Its disclosure to the public is prohibited. Legal action will be taken against anyone who discloses it.

Outside:

Journalist: Sir, what issues did you discuss in your one-on-one meeting? Dimitri: We focused on one issue. We discussed confidence-building measures… Hope to see you on Thursday… Please be mindful of your surroundings, and please be respectful on the road.
