Mine Kar and Cem Kar, who prepared the Denktaş exhibition—comprising the words of TRNC founding president Rauf R. Denktaş and telling the story of his life—gifted Türkan Şoray the signed photo she gave Denktaş when she visited the island after the 1974 Peace Operation. During the emotional presentation, Şoray said she remembered the photo and was seeing it again after 50 years, and thanked Mine Kar and Cem Kar.
