Cem Kar, director of the “Meçhul Tutsaklar” documentary and author of its book, visited President Derviş Eroğlu.
According to a statement by Cem Kar, Eroğlu thanked him during the meeting for his contribution to the history of Cyprus.
Kar briefed Eroğlu on the “Meçhul Tutsaklar” project and said: “We have held screenings in various cities in Türkiye for the film and book, which tell the story of Turkish Cypriots who struggled to be recognised and were long considered missing. We plan to screen it soon in Mersin, Istanbul and England. Our aim is to tell as many people as possible about this event in Cyprus’s history, brought to light through the book and film.”
