I

KNOW (!)

(Publication

Date: March 7, 2007)

They are dangerous!

You can't even imagine

what will happen to you.

You think it happened all

of a sudden, but that event has a history.

The danger is right beside

you; you are merely the victim of those who make the wrong decisions, or perhaps you were the one who made the decision.

***

Who are the most dangerous

people in the world?

We could answer this

question by naming various people; but at this point, there is little point in naming names!

Because they all have one

thing in common.

What is it?

In a moment…

*

Imagine someone…

They tell you they can make

a bomb…

Let’s say—though it would never happen—that they do; otherwise, why would you have anything to do with someone who says they can make a bomb…

You think they really can

do it.

You trust them.

Because they say they know

how.

And they start making the bomb.

Boooooom! The bomb explodes,

so long…

Imagine someone…

They tell you they know

about construction, that they’ve built many houses so far, and even that they can draw up the architectural plans for the house themselves.

Rather than paying out

all that money here and there, you trust them and give them the job so they can get it done in one go.

Let’s say—though it would never happen—that they do.

The man builds the house,

quite seriously.

The day comes, and booooom,

the house collapses.

So long…

Imagine someone…

They tell you they know

about cars, can solve the existing problems, and that you should put your mind at ease.

Once again, you trust them and

hand over your car.

Let’s say—though it would never happen—that they do.

The man takes your car,

services and repairs it.

You’re quite happy, delighted

that you got the job done cheaply…

But what’s that?

The brakes don’t work, and your

speed is 140 km/h…

Boooooom! You have

an accident.

So long…

You’re not the kind of person

who trusts these men, are you?

In other words, you:

When you need a bomb,

you look for the person who knows this job best.

When you have a house built, you

don’t look at the cost; you want it to be sound.

You take your car to an authorized

service center or to mechanics you trust to really know what they’re doing.

In other words, it doesn’t

matter much when someone tells you, “I know this line of work.”

You look into whether those

people really know the work you’re asking them to do…

Do you really

look into it?

Now, let’s get to what

dangerous people have in common.

As the examples I gave above

show, these people have just one thing in common: They are people who think they know, but know nothing; in other words, they don’t know themselves…

They are actually very dangerous.

If you’re not careful, you can’t

even imagine what will happen to you!

The common trait of dangerous

people is clear; let’s return to the question from a moment ago…

Do we really look into

these people?

The politicians we bring into

our lives; media bosses; the managers and builders we trust to build our homes; the chairs of our civil society organizations, and so on…

Do we choose them based on

what they say?

There is only one way

to find out!

Your complaints…

Yes, your complaints and

criticisms will guide you on this matter.

If you complain a lot

and are constantly critical, understand that these dangerous people are in office!

Either you chose them,

their bosses did, or the people at the head of the institution in question did…

See you on Friday…

Be respectful in traffic!
