Minister Üstel also met the ‘Meçhul Tutsaklar’

Journalist and author Cem Kar visited Tourism, Environment and Culture Minister Ünal Üstel yesterday to promote his documentary film and book, 'Meçhul Tutsaklar', his first experience as a director. According to information provided by the Ministry, journalist Cem Kar presented Tourism, Environment and Culture Minister Ünal Üstel with his book, which recounts the experiences of 75 mujahideen and a journalist who were rounded up from Lefke and surrounding villages on July 22, 1974, taken from their homes and captured. During the meeting, Kar also provided information about the work he had done to date on the book and documentary. Tourism, Environment and Culture Minister Ünal Üstel expressed his pleasure at receiving the book as a gift and congratulated Cem Kar on the project.
