They reunited 37 years later for “Meçhul Tutsaklar”

Sabah reports that journalist Mete Akyol and Greek Cypriot officer Takis Çagaris came together for Cem Kar’s documentary and book project, “Meçhul Tutsaklar,” about the experiences of journalists taken prisoner in 1974. In the report, Çagaris says he tried to protect the journalists who were being held captive.
