Kar will introduce audiences to 360-degree video, using the format to discuss current affairs with his guests.
Viewers can touch the screen to look around the locations where the 360-degree interviews are filmed. They can choose when to see the interviewees and the setting for themselves. Bringing today’s technology together with interview storytelling, Cem Kar will also use 360-degree video and drone footage to help promote the natural beauty of Cyprus.
The interviews will be filmed in the island’s natural landscapes and historic locations, with drone footage helping viewers see each place from different angles.
The first programme, featuring guest Serhat Kotak and focusing on the TRNC system, was filmed at Merit Park, one of the places in Cyprus where the sun sets most beautifully.
The interviews are published on YouTube, Facebook and Instagram under the name 360sohbetler, and can also be watched at 360sohbetler.com.
