Where can a way of life devoid of emotions take us?

Can the process called life be lived solely within the bounds of facts and logic?

Is it logic that we place within this process that makes us who we are, or are emotions what make us who we are?

“Eating one piece of chocolate excites you five times more than kissing,” says modern science!

In other words, according to scientific facts: Forget kissing—instead of someone you can’t wait to see, someone you’re in love with, eating chocolate is more exciting…

Modern science tells you that the act of kissing the person you’ve pursued for years—the outcome of the process called ‘love’—doesn’t produce such an important result, and that you can achieve the same thing with a single chocolate bar.

This finding could of course lead to different results: You could tell your loved one, waiting for you for a passionate kiss, “Why bother! Look, I brought chocolate,” and eat chocolate together, mathematically increasing the excitement sixfold, to 5+1.

Of course, you can do this if all you want is to feel that excitement; but if it’s not excitement you’re after, but your urges, that’s another matter!

From this point on, you’ll have to teach your urges that eating chocolate is much more exciting than kissing!

What else is science for, anyway?

It makes our lives easier, helps us save time, and of course guides us in this direction and changes our habits!

The changing conditions of human life must be making us forget certain emotions!

An academy that opened in London made me feel this way.

The academy’s name is “Academy of Sex and Relationships,” or “Sex and Relationship Academy.”

According to its owner, its purpose is to train people to be sexually open and passionate about love. In addition, the place was set up for the sex of today and tomorrow!

I believe it is unnecessary to train people to be sexually open and passionate about love.

Because, as I noted above, if you can take care of this with a chocolate bar, why establish an academy like this?

It seemed meaningless to me!

I’m sure the formula I’m about to offer those determined to attend this academy will be very useful! (Let this be my gift to modern science…)

The C.K Formula for sexually open, passionate love: Instead of kissing, the indispensable part of foreplay, each person will eat a 100 g piece of chocolate. This will make the 10h (h = excitement) that may be experienced while kissing five times greater. Then, for the lovemaking planned afterward, they will consume 1 kg of baklava with hazelnuts and walnuts. (Meanwhile, couples hoping to have a baby as a result of this act are advised to go to a sperm bank...)

Joking aside, of course we can look at these subjects in different ways: The research on chocolate was conducted in the United States and is based entirely on scientific data. As it turns out, today’s technology has not yet—fortunately—managed to measure emotions. The chocolate experiment was a study based on pulse readings; I think the subjects really liked chocolate. Or perhaps chocolate raises your pulse… Or chocolate sales were down, so a scientist came along and made this result up out of thin air! In any case, it is not a particularly important study, and its findings can never be taken as a measure. The “Sex and Relationship Academy,” meanwhile, is a commercial venture, a ‘facility’ that cost $15 million. So it is not a place to be taken very seriously.

In short, neither of these things is worth taking seriously!

And yet they are seriously thought-provoking.

Why?

Because in one part of the world, people are being slaughtered, while in their own countries people resort to such frivolity. This virtually proves and intensifies the emotional numbness of their own societies, while every gun fired around the world dulls an emotion; dulled emotions lead to more people dying, and a lack of love causes other wars to break out. Children are the ones most affected by the wars that result from this lack of love!

Knowing this, and always thinking of children, and thus of the future, the Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk said, “Peace at Home, Peace in the World.”

That is why he dedicated this day to all the children of the world.

Because societies that care about their

children cannot be loveless and devoid of emotion.

Happy April 23 National Sovereignty and

Children’s Day…
